Some more links about writing that I’ve found intriguing!
First is from Martin T. Ingham’s Three Cents Worth site. Write What You Like is a great explanation as to why trying to write that next great story that jumps on the same bandwagon as everyone else could be a waste of time. It’s full of excellent advice and well worth a read.
Next is a post from Chuck Wendig and his Terrible Minds site (we’ve been there before). Writers: You Might Be Doing It Wrong If… is a list of things to avoid while, you know, writing. Okay, not so much writing, as wanting to be a writer. I reckon I only disagree with one (I have a habit of messing around with other manuscripts behind the main manuscript’s back, but I live in an open writing relationship with my creations and they’re very understanding about these proclivities of mine).
And finally, from Content Marketing Advice’s website (no, seriously), a huge infographic explaining the Seven Steps To The Perfect Story. It’s big but it’s beautiful.
So, a few links to tide you over. Enjoy!
